The holiday shopping season has begun and you may see a rise in credit card declines. This time of year credit card companies step up their fraud watch and will auto decline a purchase if they feel it is possible fraud.  Web-Tokens is listed as an “On Line” company and many credit card companies view online companies as a higher risk for fraud.  When you process a charge and it is declined and the client doesn’t understand why and claims the card is in good standing, all your client has to do is call the customer service number on the back of his credit card and tell then that he is trying to make an online purchase with Web-Tokens.com.  They will then release the block and you should be able to process the charge.   All the credit card company wants is a verbal from that card holder that the charge is valid.

Gift Cards are somewhat different as they usually have to be registered after purchased before they can be used to make an online purchase. This can be done online or by calling the customer service # on the back of the card.  It’s all in the fine print of the gift cards instructions. So if you get a decline on a gift card, have the client call the customer service number on the back of the card and tell them that they are trying to make an online purchase with Web-Tokens.com and they will clear it so you can process the transaction.

Dispatch calls will be billed at two dollars a minute, 10 minute minimum and if the client ever inquires, web-tokens.com is how the billing will show up on their credit card statements. Dispatch will be available seven days a week, generally between the hours of 9 AM and 2 AM Eastern, so the customers have a very large window of opportunity to call. If the demand is there, it may be possible in the future to offer dispatch 24/7.

Dispatch calls will be paid at 50% of the charge amount.  Payments will be added to your weekly statement / payment.

Kathleen will take care of the billing so when she calls you to do a dispatch call all the billing has been done. She will tell you who the client is, how much time he has purchased, what type of call he wants and his number to call and any other info you may need.

You will be playing your own characters – so when you are on the call you should let the guy know about your web site and tell him he can always call you direct next time.

It’s no secret that adult entertainment on the Web is here to stay. So on September 15, a handful of former Google employees launched search engine Boodigo.com, which helps users find pornography on the Internet.

Boodigo was formed by Colin Rowntree, Wasteland, and tech company 0x7a69. According to research, the search term “porn” has had a rate of interest that has not dipped below 80 percent since 2010.

Access, privacy, and anonymity are key focus areas for Boodigo. The search engine contains a double process of verification, which works to first find the proper content based on the search terms and then makes sure that the site hosting the content is trusted. This process helps eliminate the spyware and viruses that many users accidentally download on adult sites.

Additionally, Boodigo safeguards the user’s privacy by disabling the use of cookies or other tracking mechanisms that obtain information about Internet users.

And unlike its mainstream counterparts, Boodigo is not in the business of gathering user intelligence.

When asked about the project, Rowntree shared why there was a need for a product like Boodigo:

“Google and Bing have gradually been weeding out the industry’s adult content and that (for us) has been tremendously frustrating. I know it looks like a lot of work but the result is definitely worth it. Traffic has been steadily increasing and we have not been active in a while.

Live Chat Support for your site visitors.

Have you ever been on a web site and one of those “May I help you” chat windows pop up on your screen and allows you to chat live with a site representative to answer your questions and encourage you to make a purchase.   They knew you were visiting their site and then poped up the window to ask you if you needed assistance

What if, anytime a potential client was visiting your site you were alerted so you could ask “May I help you” via a small popup chat window!

In the past you had to pay a monthly service fee to a service company that would provide you the code on your site so you do just that.

Today, if you are running a wordpress site there is a plugin that would do exactly what these service companies do.  And the best thing is, there is no monthly service fee.

The plugin is called  WP Live Chat Support http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-live-chat-support/.  

This plugin will do everything the big service companies do without the monthly fee.  In fact they have a totally free version that will get you started but the PRO version has all the bells and whistles you want.   The site license is usually $29 but you can almost always get it for $19 but if I am hosting your WP site or I do your billing you can have the WP Live Chat Support PRO for FREE!  I purchased a developer unlimited site license.

Once installed and you are available to do calls, you will need to log into your WP site and go the the WP Chat Support dashboard.  Here you will see in real time when ever someone visits your site.  Even if you are not watching your screen it can be configured to  chime/ring when you get a visitor. When they are on your site they will see a small window tab near the bottom of the screen that will ask if they need help and want to chat – or you can initiate a chat session.   Even if you don’t want to initiate a chat it is interesting to see when a possible customer is visiting your site. My suggestion is never ever miss the opportunity to close the sale.
